Out of His Box

We've been frequenting the craft store alot lately.  And similar to Costco, we usually come home with more than we intended.

Last week, we came home with a new twist on a Chia Pet.

They were near the check out stand, and I have a daughter who has a new affinity for wanting to cut things.  Perfect, we can grow him hair, she can cut it.

He's been germinating in his box since Tuesday.  Since Tuesday we've been watching for white fuzz.

This morning, there were slight bits of white fuzz.  He's coming out of his box and we're moving on to hair growing!

I shouldn't be surprised that a version of Chia Pets are back.  A couple days ago a young girl walked by our house wearing leggings, leg warmers, and a headband.  It appears '80's are back people.
